We Find the Source.

A small drip can waste hundreds of gallons of water and cause mold growth behind your walls. The tricky part is, the water spot isn't always where the leak is.

Pinette Plumbing uses diagnostic expertise to trace leaks to their origin. Whether it's a corroded copper joint, a failed ProPress fitting, or a frost-damaged pipe, we cut out the bad section and make the targeted repair. If our inspection shows widespread corrosion or repeated failures, we can also point you toward a planned pipe replacement solution instead of repeating short-term patches.

Don't let this happen to your home.

Copper Repair

We fix pinhole leaks in copper lines caused by water chemistry or age, using Type L copper for longevity.

PEX Repair

Repairing frozen or kinked PEX tubing with proper expansion fittings that won't leak.

Leak Source Testing

When the stain is visible but the failure is hidden, we work backward to confirm where the leak is actually starting.

When a repair becomes a replacement conversation

This page is focused on active leaks and targeted pipe repairs. If we find repeated failures, rust throughout the system, or multiple weak sections in older supply piping, a dedicated pipe replacement plan may be the smarter long-term fix.

Water Won't Wait.

If you suspect a leak, call us immediately. We prioritize active leaks to minimize damage to your home.

Leak FAQs

My ceiling has a water stain. Is it the plumbing?
Often, yes. It could be a supply line, a drain pipe, or a failed wax ring on a toilet upstairs. We can cut a small access hole to verify the source before making a mess.
What should I do while waiting for you to arrive?
**Turn off your main water valve.** It is usually located in the basement where the water line enters the house (near the meter). This stops the flow and limits damage.
Can you fix frozen pipes?
Yes. If they haven't burst yet, we can help thaw them safely. If they have split, we repair the damaged section and can insulate the pipe to prevent future freezing.
